The WIRe takes submissions on basically anything argumentative and international, so write about what is interesting to you!

For examples of what your article might look like, check out Georgetown’s undergraduate publication The Caravel. []. A simple but effective example of an article can be found here: []. Any news analysis publication has other examples of great writing!


Articles written for The WIRe will typically have a total of two or more sources coming from news, news analysis, and research from think tanks. These are also great sources for inspiration. Consider topics from your classes as well.
